I’ve signed up for something. On the recommendation of a pool friend who’s retired from the insurance industry. I told her that I was lost, had no clue and she offered advice. Here it is: UnitedHealthcare AARP Medicare Advantage Plan (HMO-PPO). I called the 800 number and that’s that. Supposedly it’s the cheapest for someone who hasn’t been to a doctor except for workplace injuries in what, forty years or more? I also had to choose a doctor. A doctor I’ll hopefully never even meet. The plan also offers a lot of “no cost” stuff. We’ll see.

If this plan turns out not to be the one I can always switch next year.

This is the month that the $160 will start to be taken from my SS every month.
