The morning started with 9am queuing outside Argos, the item was reserved yesterday and the £130 clutched close to my heart... in my handbag at the very least! Only at the checkout he asked for £99! Yay for saving £31! We managed to fit the two, large boxes in the boot of the car and drove home.

Once opened, this lay in front of me in the back garden.

I laid it out and was confronted with this.

Lila helped me with lots of nut tightening, she became a champion Allan Key engineer!

Then came the springs, not such an easy job! I managed to get nine on, with Lila's help, but I just didn't have the strength beyond that I.just.couldn't.do.It!!

Although Rich had this week off, he was stuck in Reading after last night's football- all the trains were backed up because of a broken down train on the track... on top of this I had someone coming at 10 to buy the bumbo seat (they didn't show) and someone coming at 11 to buy a highchair (they did show!), I also had to pick up some eczema cream made by a friend of mine who's a pharmacist but also a 'crunchie'and she makes her own natural creams. While I was at the other side of town I dropped off the stair gates to a different friend who wanted them for her smallest kid.

I had to wait outside my friend's pharmacy as they were closed for lunch! How quaint! While we waited, the girls had fun.

Thankfully, with Rich home, we were able to plod on with the spring yanking! And, with the girls handing us springs as we needed them, we raced.

But we weren't finished, a quick intermission bounce was all that was allowed.

With much attaching of poles, screwing of screws and tying of nets later - all with help from our amazing girls - we were ready.

It took six hours to build, the girls had a great time jumping and I spent almost half an hour doing yoga. I'm still going to ache like crap, but hopefully not as much...
