another day, another sunburn in keeping it postive

Not quite... But yes, the sun is BRIGHT and hot.

I am still not adjusted to how long it will take to get to a certain place. Either I'm VERY early, or feeling as if the time will pass before I get where I am going. Today - VERY early. I filled my transit card: 30 days unlimited for $18!!! LOVE it. That's the senior rate, and I am a senior - good!!

Then to the mall - I mailed out a book, and went to the movie theater - the box office wasn't even open yet. I had arrived an hour and a half before movie start time...

So glad there's a Ruby's restaurant nearby - steps from the theater. I had an iced coffee - the balance between chocolate and coffee was good... but the SUGAR!! Yikes. Of course I requested something else sweet - cinnamon roll french toast. OMG!!! YUMMY! I did NOT put any kind of syrup on it.

Then to the movie (review separate). I love the Asian buffet at that mall - expensive, but SO good. But since I'd had a late second breakfast, I went somewhere else. It's the Kebab Shop - had a small Greek salad and small falafel. I've had better, and will probably not return.

Back towards home, I stopped at the supermarket to pick up what I'd missed out on yesterday: produce, eggs, oatmeal (the largest canister), some canned goods. I discovered I can no longer take the shopping cart to the bus stop...the wheels LOCK after a certain point. I couldn't even turn it around, so left it jutting out in the driveway... they'll figure it out.

Home... and time to relax!
