$100 for jeans or fired, Flexeril and cleaning hoarder house in Just Life

I heard that the new dm wants us to pay $100 for Levi’s and they want us to wear Nikes. I barely get by now on $10.50 an hour. How do they expect me to afford this? They said it’s the companies standard and I must comply. I told them their standard is illogical.They are out of grasp with reality. I asked them if we don’t reply so we get wrote up or fired? I was told yes. I told them it’s a shame when they lose their entire staff cause no one can afford their ridiculous clothing standard. They are angry with me because I discussed it in front of customers. They suggested a voucher for the hotel to pay for part of the jeans and shoes. I suggest them to use common sense. We live in West Virginia everyone is broke and struggling to survive. Nobody can afford their standard.

My boss is now discussing with management wether to fire me for speaking out against the new dress code. I told them if they fire me for my opinion it is retaliation. I did nothing but state facts. I know McDonald’s is hiring for $12.50 an hour and they pay daily it isn’t glamorous but hey I won’t have to pay $100 for fucking jeans.

My doctor put me on Flexeril because of my fibromyalgia. It’s only 5 mg but today I found myself nodding behind the wheel. I drank coffee to make it through my day. I started splitting them in half so they are not so strong. I was supposed to take another Flexeril after work but decided not to. I could clean on mom’s house. I bagged 8 bags of garbage till hurt so bad I gave up and went home.

It’s been a year I still am cleaning up on moms hoarder house since her schizophrenia diagnosis. There is just so much to clean. I can’t afford a professional so I been rolling up my sleeves and doing it by myself most of the time. I have been blessed with a good mother in law. I couldn’t made it this far without Dee. She been my cheerleader and she 1 or 2 days a week helps me clean.

I took half a Flexeril. I hope it works. I need to sleep 4 am comes early.
