It stopped raining a while ago. Its all clear now, the sun is out, the wind stopped howling and the calm after the storm is eerily a bit too comfortable.

Every time I blink months fly by. It’s a superpower, gained at this late age, such a waste.
I’ve stared to tend to the minuscule changes and things I wanted to do and kept on delaying because doing any of the tasks felt like I was getting closer and closer to old age and having nothing on my bucket list.

Finally installed the new panel in the gallery, the new shoe rack is done.
A new wooden bench that’s painted to look like it’s seen more seasons than I’ve been alive on this planet.
Today I discussed the small kitchen remodeling for the new knife and pan rack.

Like an Anneke van Giersbergen song life sails on, without wind, without caution, without a care in the world.

You’re holding out a lifeline
You’re holding on to love
You’ll never give up hope
When all we do is run around in circles
And everyone is searching for the answers
You close your eyes, you’re ready to start over
And again, you leave the past behind
