Chik-Fil-A Operation Market Garden in Hello

Play on titles. Operation Market Garden was a WWII offense in the Netherlands and the Chik-Fil-A part is about their market salad. Needless to say where we had lunch today. I had to take her to her job today to get some paperwork and ended up getting fast food cause we both were shakey/jittery hungry. She loved the market salad with grilled chicken. Guess she’s found a new fav.

Afternoon naps have made a comeback.
Mom dozes off after lunch for an hour or two so I’ve been doing the same. It’s a nice refresher for the rest of the evening before making dinner and doing that days dishes and whatnot.

Tonight I’m going to do a take on sausage and peppers. Baking some bratwurst and fixing a veggie medley with with zucchini, broccoli, baby carrots and onions. No buns. We’ll see how this goes. Either way a nice vegetable intake will be filling.

A branch broke off the tree in the backyard during the storm yesterday and bent the chain link fence. Gah! Every storm that tree has to get ornery. I’d like to cut the damn thing down but it’s a couple stories high.

Anywho I need a shower.

Ended up grilling the brats with zucchini and onion skewers. Mom isn’t big on onions so she ate the rest of her salad from lunch. She added apples and cashews to it. The bratwurst was SO juicy and flavorful. Of course my breath probably smells rank with onions.
Mmm onions…
