Property Update #13- Sinkhole Central in Tennessee

Yesterday was a pretty decent day. My car has arrived in Tennessee so we don’t need to depend on anyone else to do things. Besties daughter got her hair cut, she looks so cute. Then we went out to lunch and made it a girls day. We made a schedule so we will be doing chores, reading time and maybe some board game time so the kids aren’t on their ipads all day.

Property update: We found a pretty much perfect 5 acre property about an hour away from us. It’s deforested and everything. The only catch is there is what seems to be a small sinkhole on the property. But we don’t know 100% if that’s what it is, only a guess. So we have to get a consulting geologist. The phone calls and the waiting for folks to get back to me is driving me nuts. I did talk to a geology surveyer who gave me some info about sinkholes. I won’t bore you all with that for now. I am waiting to hear back from the environmental office for the county.

Ironically enough, my cousin AK is a geologist but we aren’t on speaking terms.

Realtor says homeowners insurance won’t cover sinkholes so we would have to get a more expensive policy. Heavy sigh. It’s always something it seems. I’m just so tired of waiting.
