Grief in A Day in the Life of Me

Found out this morning while I was at work that a good friend of my father’s has passed away.
He passed a week ago today he was here in the city in the hospital that my father was in when they were going to try treatment before they realized how bad it was and, I didn’t even know. It hit me hard. The more I sat there thinking about it the harder hit me.
He and Dad were thick as thieves.. I used to jokingly call him my uncle.
He only lived a short drive down the road from Mom and Dad’s.

Then D messaged this afternoon to let me know before I saw it online that one of the Wolves in one of the parks in the states that I follow was put to sleep last night due to her declining health. She was 12 and she was also from a pack originally here in Canada in the Rockies. There was three of them in that park from the same pack here. One was a year older and we lost him a few years ago and now she’s gone so it’s just her brother left. There is a new pup that they were starting to integrate with them. He’s going to be an ambassador as well so I hope he gets along well with the remaining Canadian wolf.

I want to start following more people on here. There’s three of you that I regularly follow the downside is is I constantly go in and out of here so I’m good for about a month and then I go 3 months without cough again and then I’ve been like hours of reading to do LOL just imagine how much longer it would be if I had more people to my favorites list. On the plus side the three of you that I do have here as favs I also have on Facebook/insta so I see what you’re doing day to day anyway LOL
