Long weekend in Hi This is Kat!

Brooks turned 3 this weekend so we had him a birthday party and then a trip to the monster truck show! we all loved it.
It was close to 100 degrees most of the day until a cold thunderstorm came thru and really cooled the temps down so we could enjoy the monster trucks!
Jer is in the pool… he is my oldest son and the cool uncle.

Brooks is extremely intelligent and speaks like you are talking to an adult… at times it is hard to remember he is only a little kid and just turned 3.... until you are in a large crowd trying to get in line for a bottled water and 10 feet before the ever growing line Brooks drops to the floor and starts to crawl… I asked him what is he doing. He claims he is now a baby and can’t walk.... then he tells me he also can’t talk cause babies don’t talk....
once I got him to grow up to 3 again we get in line and a little boy about his age was behind us… Brooks tries to talk to him but the boy is shy so the father answers him. When Brooks asks him how old he was the dad said 3… Brooks asked the little boy was he was going to eat and the dad said French fries.... Brooks looks the kid right in the eyes and said.... NO you are going to get CHICKEN. he kept talking to the kids and he never talked back finally Brooks looks at the dad and asks Does he know how to talk....

Kids don’t understand shy and Brooks is so outgoing he can be a little overwhelming at first.
