woke up to black skies in Hi This is Kat!

it is 9:30am and the skies are black! It was so eerie. All our landscape lighting turned on so I could not get a good picture of it but I tried… then it started to storm! the trees looked like they were going to blow over and not real sure they won’t before it is over.
We have flood warnings out because the skies opened up and it is raining so hard… not sure if is possible to rain any harder!
I love a good thunder storm… but our ground is so hard from lack of rain it has made a flooding situation in some areas.

Our grass is getting a good drink of water… our yard has irrigation so it was not hard like many so it is soaking up the water :)

As is the pool.... I am going to have to go out in this crap and backwash the pool because the water is getting too high. FUN!

Now the skies are getting lighter, winds are calming, and the thunder and lightning is almost over…

I hope it washed away some of the smoke we were getting from Canada… I am sure it helped some

and now the storm is over and my life goes back to boring
