Rain drops falling on my head! in Hi This is Kat!

Finally some good steady rain! Our yard really needed a good soaking rain. So happy we can skip running the irrigation for a couple of days. I sat my ferns out in the rain…rain water makes them so healthy! . 

My neighbors yard is sooo dry and brown. I hope this rain helps some but usually if you let it get brown it is too far gone. It might pull out in a month or so but I doubt it. They do not have irrigation.

They also let the lawn guys cut their grass when it is dry and they cut the grass too short!
Our yard is always the greenest lawn but we take care of our own grass… it makes a difference.

Our side of the street everyone has irrigation and oddly no one on the opposite side does. It is the only way to keep your yard healthy and green… I have yet to see anyone with the hose sprinklers get the same results

That is the weird things empty nesters think of lol

Jojo actually went to work every day this weekend! It is so hard for her
