it's lucky that I'm not wearing socks in summer 2014 is a creepin' in.

Because I'd be laughing them off by now! Seriously, they be flying across the room, knocking nick nacks from shelves and destroying cobwebs on their way. ahh, a good laugh cures all frustration sigh.

As you probably know, tomorrow is my last childminding day and as soon as I finished work this afternoon I started... I washed down both of the high chairs in the garden so that I could let hot, soapy water run all over. Then chuck cold water on them to rinse and dry in the sun. I've washed all the plastic tableware and bagged it all up in sets, and four sets of toddler cutlery (flatware) too.

And then I emptied the work filing cabinet. We have two filing cabinets, the home, personal one and my work cabinet. I emptied it all, put most of the stuff in a plastic box to sort through later before putting the important stuff in the loft. I was about to put the filing cabinet in the car when I noticed some photos on the floor. Under the photos was an attendance register... I stopped, I looked... I felt mildly intrigued...

For those of you who remember, you know exactly what I'm talking about... right?

It was the missing 2013 attendance register!! The one I spent several weeks re-writing, the one I had to beg, borrow but not steal data from various places and people so that I could fill it in!!!

And it was in the middle of the floor. I have absolutely no idea where it came from nor how it ended up there, under a couple of photos that I took in May of this year!!

So, I could scream, or cry but I chose to laugh, and laugh and laugh!!
