Thursday Agility Class. in The odd entries from life …….

Yesterday was what I would call a perfect summer day, no rain of course and mostly clear skies, not to hot but ok for walking or sitting; I suppose it’s it only fault is it wasn’t just the same the day after! Also yesterday Ziggy and Lola were quite after our agility, their quietness started after the first session they had on the agility course …

Ziggy arrived at the class wearing his cool-jacket, this week the builders were working quietly so no time was lost getting Ziggy going, so I was sat on the sideline with a grumpy Lola who thought she should be out there! Ziggy shot off round the course fast and eloquent, taking to jumps in long easy flights; even in the corners. A part of the class was coaching our dogs to listen, and they were going left when told; and stopping when told.

My little area next to the fence was set out as cool areas, except my folding chair, I and a colourful umbrella and my chair were standing in for a parasol, Lola wasn’t happy about Ziggy going out first, at the change over Ziggy was quite ok most of the time. Lola always seems at home, dashes round the course with her tail up, a while Jo and Daughter are discus what’s needed to be done next, as that stuff goes on Lola’s is rolling in the grass with her paws in the air.

Going home was easer going through Newquay, and was quicker, getting about is not to bad considering it is mid August with sun shine and very little rain!
