I Know in Every day scata

I know we don’t live forever. I know that my BIL was a bit older than I. I know that we all die, but I’m still shocked that Phil just … dropped dead today.

Phil, my “ex” brother in law has been in my life since I was a zygote. No. Seriously. My sister started dating him before I was born.

Yes. this is the same sister that I wasn’t speaking to.

I was at Docs house today when I got a call from my oldest nephew, Jason. He told me that his dad had a heart attack, was resuscitated, and was transported to the hospital (obviously). He didn’t have any other info as he called as soon as he could.

I was driving to my doggo sitting gig when Jay called again. Phil died. He’s gone. He was 70.

Despite his shortcomings, Phil was one of my best friends. He was always there for me. I mean it. Always there. Never was my “brother in law”, he was my brother.

I can write about him all night, but my new doggo friend is pretty upset with his moms gone and the weather being rainy. Time for me to distract with my idiot self.
