Waiting for something to happen.... in blackpropaganda

Life seems to be pottering along - no great crises - and issues under control - and as I write that I have the feeling that it cannot last - there is bound to be some kind of crisis soon - I never accept that all will be well. So it is worth enjoying the peaceful nature of things while I can.

The task of putting everything back after the putting in of new windows has come to a halt. Just too many other things - concerts to go to, walks to take part in - things to watch on tv - but next week we have people coming in for a wine tasting so there will be a scramble to get things done. We have ordered new blinds (Roman Style) for the main room - so at the moment there are no curtains or blinds - so anyone can look in - although, to be honest, no one seems to be bothered. It is not as if we are lounging naked - or cavorting on the leather sofa - more falling asleep in front of the tv.

Tonight there is a new series of 'Who Do You Think You Are - in which celebs look at their family history. Of course they only film those who do have something interesting to find out once the researchers have been on the job.Very often it is fascinating - and normally challenges the conception of some people that they are pure bred English people - lots of mongrels out there!!! I know I am part German - don't ask me which part!
