Camp and Sunset Pictures in In the Meadow

The kids are going to day camp this week. The camp starts at eight in the morning and ends at five in the evening, so it is a long day. They do lots of activities. There is an indoor pool and they go swimming every day. There is also a gym they play games in. They have arts and crafts, music, and they play sports outside. There are also several field trips. Today they went to the zoo. The kids had a fun time. We have been to the zoo but it's different going with other kids. There is an indoor rain forest exhibit that they particularly liked.

In the evenings we have been going to the park. The kids have been riding their bikes. We have also been doing some reading. I forgot to bring reading material when we we were coming back from vacation, so I bought a used book at the airport. It cost four dollars, which I figured wasn't too bad for a fairly new book. It is a suspense novel by Lee Child. It is enjoyable summer reading, not too serious. The kids have been reading books for the summer reading club. They are just about done with those. We will start reading Harry Potter again now. We took a break from it to do the reading club.

I would also like to go see some movies this summer. There are some new ones coming out in the beginning of August. We may go to the movies this weekend.

We went to the New York City area for the wedding at the end of June, we saw a wonderful sunset over the water. These pictures were taken at a park in a town where some of my husband's family lives. We went to see them after the wedding. Here are some pictures.
