No fun but car fixed,garden gossip in Just Life

I wanted so badly to go to Causeacon 2023. The Harp Twins are performing there. I thought I collected money for that event. Sadly I hit a deer with my car trying to avoid hitting an officer who locked his breaks in the middle of the road because a car he was trying to pull over stopped in the road and turned off his motor. My 2 headgaskets blew from the overheat and radiator busted from hitting the dead deer sitting in the road. After all the repairs were needed it was $3070. The knocked out all my families savings. No fun events for a while. At least I have my car back. I am so incredibly grateful.

So far I have 4 plants in my greenhouse. I have 2 tomato plants,lavender and lemon balm. On my porch I have a 3 tier garden bed. Last year we made the mistake of trying to grow 2 cucumber plants. It suffocated our other plants, the cucumber plant grew down our porch which is 9 feet off the ground and I even found cucumbers in the yard. The mowing crew cut some up with a mower.

At one point I had to remove a vine which somehow reach out back doors knob and decided it was going to grow there. Several times I had to go to the back porch to move the cucumbers and vines in order for Me to safely open the back door. My husband says no cucumbers this year. I tried to push my luck with strawberries he reminded me it’s a vine plant and will takeover.
