Yesterday I got really frusturated because hubby still thinks it’s only water damage but I think the water has caused some type of mold. I am not sure which one but I know it is something other then just water damage. And I think he agrees with me to a point. Then he said he is going to ask the lanlady if he can spray paint it and I tiold him make sure it’s for mold because regualr paint is just no good. And he has to ask the landlady. But before he even starts to paint the spots and the black has to be removed.
I can see that it’s going to be a lot of work and there will be places that he won’t be able to get. And I am sure that it won’t be done well at all.
Then I asked him the question, what good is it to do a bandaid solution when you just do the job right? Like instead of painting just replace the parts of the wall that has the damage on it and then you can look behind the wall to see if there is any more damage and maybe replace the instalation that is on the walls also. It will be a challange to get the black that is in the vanity because it’s on the sides of the shelf and to take it out I think will make it unstable because there will be nothing to hold the new board. So it needs to be replaced.
If the landlady lets hubby paint this then I will be really pissed at her because he can do it but not well. But then she does shitty work also.
And yesterday I also showed hubby the sawdust and the dead wood bugs. This has been an ongoing issue also and all she does is spray some crap that doesn’t work for the long term. What I think she needs to do is take the wood out and see what is above it and clean it out and replace the wood. There is no dry wall on the ceiling it’s just wood and instalation not put in right. When some people build rooms and other things why don’t they build it right and according to the law? I also have a feeling there were no inspectors to over see what was done and if it was done right. Me personally would have gotten someone who actually has done the job for a good number of years and has been certified to work in the industry. Or has actually fixed what ever more then once.
It would be really nice if I could just call someone who can fix these things and then it would be done and everything would be working. And I would not be so stressed out. I just hope the furnace won’t catch on fire because it hasn’t ever been serviced and I am terrified that the gas will catch on something and I will end up dead. Anything gas terrifies me because noit only does it smell but it’s a bitch to find out where it came from and if there is an explosion of some sort.
I just want things fixed in a timely manner and not be told that she can’t afford it. And the longer it doesn’t get fixed the more it will cost to fix it and the end result will be replacement. And that will cost even more.

Onto something else…
I have noticed since I had covid my sense of smell isn’t the same I think this will be a long term thing. I just hope I don’t get covid again....

Onto something else…
Dinner tonight will be steak and carrotts and parogies with the fixings.
And later today hubby will be going for his booster and then it will be dinner time just about. And maybe I will evn do some domestic work and get a few things done that are on my to do list.

Well, I need to stop here…
Do have a great day…
Be Kind, Be calm, Be Safe and Behave.
