Images as words and numbers ….. in The odd entries from life …….

Redding about a crime writers a gathering this weekend, I saw an image of Jimmy Savile [or Jimmy Sa-vile] wearing that smile of ‘you don’t know me’ But a crime reporter now a crime writer, wrote a crime story based on the rumours about Savile before his activities were known; if he knew of the book I’m certain he would have enjoyed it. Each time I come suddenly on his image I feel shock, knowing what I’m looking at ….

On the BBC on line news I see an image of the children of Gaza, in the hospitals of Gaza, seeming fair targets in this nasty war, and a hundred dead on one side to one of the other is the going rate in this dreadful wheel of hate; the dead are numbers witch ever side and each number a life lost.
