Our new baby in My this and that

Today I am thankful for the Lord's guidance. We finally made the decision on what car we were going to buy, and we bought it, and we drove it home yesterday and she is BEAUTIFUL.

She is a Scion tC 2014, alpine white. We are quite pleased with her. As we were driving yesterday Ben said "This is the exact car I wanted." which makes me glad we didn't settle for something else. Sure we'll have to wait longer for a house... but you know what? I'm REALLY happy with where we are at right now. A house is added stress and responsibility, and I'm having a lot of fun with Ben right now in our life.

Maybe it's not always about wanting the next thing. Maybe it's about just being content where you are sometimes.

My face has been breaking out again lately. In weird spots where I never used to get pimples... I think that usually means a different kind of acne. shrugs I put honey on them for the night and today they are less painful... so that's good. Surprisingly I don't feel super ugly this time with this break out, so that's a glorious feeling. Haven't lost my confidence!

I'd really like to start a prayer journal... I have been thinking about it for months now, and just haven't gotten around to it yet. Perhaps this weekend sometime. I just want to take some time to start it well... I don't know why beginnings feel like such an important thing, but they do don't they? We celebrate beginnings.
