Some morning words... in These titles mean nothing.

Last night after work I went to town.

In order of occurrence:

  1. got can money at can place. Fifteen dollars and change. Place smells and is full of cans. At the end of the day. But they paid me.

  2. washed Buick at McMillans car wash.

  3. went to Kwik Star and bought ice and coffee, orange juice and milk. Was so intent on getting my milk card punched that I forgot I had to pay. The clerk reminded me.

  4. went to ShopKo and shopped for pots and pans. Got a 'set' of smallish frying pan, dutch oven, and two sauce pans. All have lids, dutch oven and fry pan share the same one. They are blue enamel ware and they are pretty. They are also cheap. I forget how much. Forty or sixty dollars I think.

  5. went to library. I had been waiting for A Walk in the Woods to be over and it finally was. It had gotten rewound when John had the car over the weekend so I had to listen to some of it twice to listen to all of it once. I got McCullough's 1776. Many tapes. He reads it and it's unabridged. They have a lot of Elmore Leonard.

I think that was all I did in town.

When I got home I saw that Jim had gone to P & Z. I did some laundry. Spent time on the deck. Watered flowers. Did the mail. Weeded a little. Unpacked pans and burned the box. Jim came home. I talked to him. I took a bath and washed my hair. I stayed up late and then didn't sleep. And now it's morning and I'm kind of tired.

(pretend there is a flower picture here)
