dilemma in keeping it postive

I often eat the same foods at home - over and over. I have a few choices, but basically it's the same. And as many people go to the full closet and say 'there's nothing to wear', I can go to a full pantry and say, 'there's nothing to eat'. Nothing that strikes my fancy that is.

I have at least 3 kinds of grains, two or three types of canned beans, shredded non-dairy cheese, both white and sweet potatoes, various condiments and spices, two kinds of oatmeal, packaged Indian food (from Trader Joe's). I vary and alternate the ingredients. But after a while, it seems to be the same.

I go to the market... and even though I want something new, I can wander the aisles and NOTHING appeals to me. Either I read the ingredients panel and put the item back, or the price is too high. But usually I have no interest in the food. I don't want salad items so I know if I buy anything, it'll go bad before I am halfway done.

Weird as I do LOVE food and love to eat.
