if anything at all
can be a magic spell
it is in the stories that we tell
not in the prayers that we might pray
that may have the power to sway
the actions of the extant gods and monsters
we need less preachers
we need less mobsters
we need more scribes
we need more rock stars
we need more stories
that admit they are stories
we need less myths
masquerading as truth
we need more proof
we need more of you
we desperately need
so much more of you
