I Got Nothing.... in Me Being Me

I hate waking up cold because it takes hours for the heat to actually be heard and the furnace working. so I turn my oven on to about 450 and open the oven door and I start to feel the heat. I figure if the furnace was maintained and serviced and the dust be taken out of the aor vents that the place would be warmer and the cost of the gas be much cheaper. In fact I would think that evry applice I have we would run better if it were serviced and parts replaced that are wearing out. I know of at least three parts that have to be replaced in the fridge....The white gasket and the thermoitor because parts of my firdge are too cold and the little switch that turns the light off when the door is closed. I have been telling her for years that the door doesn’t close properly and she just tightened the screw and that is it. That wasn’t the issue. And I have also noticed that the bottom element in the stove has a black spot near the connection and I think soon it will be all black when the oven is on. I think that needs to be replaced also. So in other words the element doesn’t heat up like it should and it should look like the color of fire when it’s on.
I just wish things were maintained here and she would come once or twice a year to see what needs to be fixed and then fix it. But she doesn’t. I have had only one land lord do that and they came every year without fail and actually looked at everything and took notes on what needs to be done. And when I told them of things that I thought needed attention they actually took the time to look at it and if it needed to be fixed they sent someone to fix it. This slumlord doesn’t do that and I am not sure why. I am guessing she doesn’t care and wants a fire or flood or worse.
I think the most important thing to do when wanting to get along is to communicate and lesten and to give real facts and when you say you will do something just do it in a timely manner. Then everyone is happy and is more willing to follow the rules that don’t make sense like not having space heaters or lighting candles or having the TV at a volume I can actually hear.
Why is it when I say I am going to do something I do it right away or as soon as I can? Why don’t others do that?

Onto something else…

Well, it’s Friday and the weekend is upon us. A time to not worry and to relax and chill and do what you want. Well, within reason.
Dinner last night was spagetti and meat sauce and there is lots of leftovers that went into the big freezer. And tonight is left overs and I am not sure if I want anything. And I get to get an early night because waking up at 5:30 or before really sucks the big one. And then comes saturday and hubby is home at a much earlier time but then he starts a lot earlier. I really don’t like him working these split shifts because he always comes home when it’s dark and dinner is always late. Like when most people are getting ready for bed we are eating dinner. But in 4 years that will all stop because hubby will be retiring then.
