Mundane Monday in Current Events

I wanted to go for a run after my shift yesterday but I wanted to take a cat nap first. That turned into a 5 hour nap so I missed that opportunity. Yesterday we spent the majority of our shift outside getting the garden centre ready for the store. I spent the whole shift extremely tired because I was running on very little sleep. I ended up getting another 6 hours of sleep last night.
Shocking not shocking but my roommate left me a huge pile of dishes to clean. I’m not touching them. I decided to be petty and I am going to start hiding snacks from her as well. I never get any. At least she cooked something when she got home. First time in weeks. I know that I am creating tension. By the time I try to communicate with her it will explode out of me.
I am thinking about giving mushroom coffee a go. It’s expensive but it works out to spending $1.33 a day on a cup of coffee. I don’t smoke, vape, drink, and do drugs so this can be my thing. I’m not super keen that it has actual coffee in it but it’s half the caffeine of a cup of coffee. People in the reviews claim to not get the jitters, or get anxious and don’t have to urinate frequently after. I’ll take that as their bodies not going into a detox crisis after every cup so I just might give it a go.
My bad mood has been consistent since this weekend. It seems to be focused Jon my roommate. It’s as though I am putting all my bitter eggs in the easiest basket.
I have things that I should absolutely do today. I mean, I’ve been good with my little to-do lists. I am fighting the urge to run around and spend money that I don’t have. I will force myself to stay in. I’ll definitely go for a walk or run later. We are finally in the double digits. We are expecting rain this week and then on Saturday we might snow.
I fell asleep longing for summer. I think it is seasonal depression that I am experiencing. I’m going to write more about it when my roommate leaves for her shift and I can sit at my computer.
