friday's to-do list in poetry

1.) drop off uncle’s bike at the town pornographer for start-of-spring repairs
(the town pornographer is also the town bicycle mechanic. small towns gotta double up.)

2.) order (on-line) tickets to two separate concerts by two of the guys from the Talking Heads
and the Pixies at two different breweries in the area

3.) deposit state tax refund at the bank three towns over (because they closed all the other
local banks in that chain and I am too lazy to change banks, that sounds complicated)

4.) hit the methodist thrift store and the catholic thrift store, both of which have such
short small hours that I can basically only get to either on the late morning of a Friday

5.) pick-up prescription refills for blood pressure and anxiety meds from the CVS

6.) get it all done by 1PM for the afternoon shift (pre-game on coffee and advil, Good Friday
is a day off for the local schools, the day at the library will consist of waves of tweens barreling in to use the bathrooms and play Minecraft on the iPads between incomprehensibly
disorganized games of sandlot football in the park across the street, it’s gonna be
interesting)
