All Betters... in Friends With the Benedicts

Well, I am back home again. It worked, and peace has been restored to my home and my marriage. There wasn't anything really horrible to begin with, so it wasn't quite as hard as last time. Only one night away needed. :)

I went to Walmart earlier tonite and ended up buying some sparklers for the 4th. Normally wouldn't have even done that, but I wish I hadn't even bothered. We did go outside and use them, right after it got dark and you could hear the 'works in full force. I paid $2 for a pack of 6 boxes but they might as well have been 50 cents cuz that's all they were worth in my opinion. They just don't make em like they used to! There was only about 5 in each box, and they burned so quickly and were so short that you had to constantly keep an unlit one in your hand to light quickly with the one that was going out. It ended up being more of a frustration more than anything. But, Kya got to run around for a few and I ended up unpacking the car of laundry while out there and had Laura's help, so it worked out OK. Yea, I took advantage of my sleepover and brought clothes and comforters over to my Mom's to wash. So that was nice and convenient.

It was a rather nice day here today weather wise. The humidity was kept at bay long enough for us to see why some people actually like the putrid hell they call Summer. It was nice to not worry about my glasses fogging up after getting out of the air conditioned car. LOL. And I could breathe... so that was nice too.

I promise one day verrry soon I will do a pic entry. It's just such a pain. And I tend to put off that which causes pain. LOL. Well, I guess that's it... I lead a very boring life, with some cool/interesting stuff splashed in there every once in a while. I guess those of you who actually read me will just have to wait for the latter. Ha! Hope yall had a fun and safe 4th! I'm going to crash now, in my bed with new sheets and clean blankies and all that stuff that makes it nice. :) Byeee!
