Mr Turner and Ziggy! in The odd entries from life …….

Mr Truner.

I’ve just found a first trailer of Mike Leigh’s latest film ‘Mr Turner’ a biopic of J M W Turner, with Timothy Spall as the great painter in the last twenty-five years of his life. The film was shown in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, Timothy Spall was awarded Best Actor; and cinematographer Dick Pope received a special jury prize for the film's cinematography.

The release date is 31st of October! I wonder why they hold the release so lang, those in America will have to wait until the 19th of December; a treat for Christmas time.

Ziggy

For the last few weeks Jo has been running an obedience class, and several dogs – Ziggy being one have been working the grade one, and Ziggy was the first in the class to pass grade one! Beardie’s were bread for handling cattle in Poland, and they were trained to work alone, so they should be quite intelligent, fans of the Breadie like their independence; and think the Boarder Collie something of a Metronome. Of course fans of the Boarder Collie will not agree!

The Breadie are a handful just because of their independence, they have the ability for agility but can get bored. Like a lady Sweetheart knows on the internet, her Breadie goes on agility completions and dose well, at one completion she got there early and took her Breadie though the course. Latter in the completion her dog set off and completed several objects, then the dog must have thought ‘I’ve dun this twice’ and went of and sat in a stream, with their type of independence they are not a metronome!
