Another big day at work yesterday. Kinda glad to be through it :) I didn't get home until around 3:30am, as I finished at 2am and went to gym afterward. It was only a leg day though and those are easier than the upper-body days, so I kinda flew through it. I did surprise myself however on the leg press. I managed to press 200kg! I haven't done that in around three or four years, and only two weeks back into proper gym, I realised I could do it. I just lowered the amount of reps I did however, as there's not much point doing that much weight on a high amount of reps. But yay, pretty cool! Then when I got home, I researched on the search engines how much the slate weighs on the leg press. There's a lot of umming and ahhing about whether it does weigh anything, but when I tested lifting it with no weights on my using my arms, there was definitely some weight on that thing, so I thought I'd look into it. The results I got were all in American weight measurements, saying 100lb, which I calculated to work out to be around 40kg? A lot of people on the forums I read say they don't count that weight (like you do on bench press and squats) as the incline of the machine evens it out. I don't understand the physics of how an incline suddenly evens out 40kg of weight, as that would mean the 200kg I have on there wouldn't be 200kg, so that's a little confusing, but if I do add all the weight on including the slate, that means I just leg-pressed 240kg LOL. A quarter of a ton! :D Fuck, I must have He-man legs haha.

I haven't been checking into the gym on Foursquare like I used to religiously. I don't even tell most people I'm there, only really here in my diary because I want to monitor my progress where it matter most - to me. Feels weird referring to this place as a 'diary' when I'm writing in 'books'. Oh well. I just tried the OpenDiary site again, but doesn't look like anyone else has taken it over, ah well, let it go, let it go. I guess I had a bit of fun with the whole Foursquare thing, but it's better to just live life as reality and not leave everything to social media platforms. It's more fun that way and let's face it, I spend more than enough time than is healthy on sites like Facebook. I often worry that I'll get to an old age and will have spent most of my life looking at this screen. Writing here I have no worries about, but wasting it looking at mundane status' probably isn't the healthiest way to live. But let's face it, at the hours I'm awake during the night, I can't exactly go down the road and have a hit of tennis, because I wouldn't be able to see shit. Not to mention it's cold as fuck lately. I'm glad this crap only hangs around for a month or two. Pretty exciting to hear it was SNOWING in Stansthorpe yesterday. I've still never seen real snow in my entire life. Even up on Mt Wellington in Tasmania, it was sleeting, but no snow :( One day. One day.

I've been getting texts from Vish and his boyfriend reminding me about diner tonight. I'm heading over to theirs early before we go out, so that'll be good to catch up. I'm unsure of how many people are coming tonight, but it seems we're going to one of our regular restaurants we go to, and it's fairly inexpensive also, which is a bonus. Gotta love cheap Asian cuisine!

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a guy I've been chatting to on Hornet for a while. He has one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen on a guy (in pictures). You know the type who's smile seems to overtake their entire face? So yeah, because of that he seems pretty friendly, and I've agreed to finally meet up with him. I've decided I'm gonna throw in some of my lame jokes to try and make him laugh, as I do love a smile like his. It could fail miserably LOL. I think we're just gonna grab a coffee or a drink and hopefully have a chat. This guy's from Brazil I believe, so we'll see how things go. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what he's like in person.

I'd better get ready. Present is wrapped and I've just gotta write in Vish's card. It's in the last entry if you missed it :)
