Sunrise, sunset... in These titles mean nothing.

The day began with color in the sky. I saw a stripe of green out the kitchen window but when I got outside it was no longer there - or maybe the camera was incapable of capturing it.

We've had nine inches of rain in the last two weeks. A week ago Thursday we had 4.7 inches. That was the day the creek came out of its banks. The rest of the rain was spread out fairly well.

Cross your fingers, we've had no hail or high winds.

But it's been hard to get hay made.
