This and that and the software engineers ……………… in The odd entries from life …….

Monday.

The day long blue skies have given way to white and gray clouds passing, so bright light comes and goes, when the wind drops it feel really hot; the sort that sends me into the shade.

Nothing on television – that I wanted to watch! As I’ve said before the more channels there are there are less programs I want to spend watching.

Sweetheart sent me a e-mail, she’s in the next room and the message in about poppies, up the coast there is a field that can be covered with those red blooms, last year the cold spring didn’t suit them; so soon we shall have a look see!

Tuesday.

I’m not quite when I’ll have photographs on my entries, the BT Yahoo I’ve been using are changing – going there own ways, I’ve saved my images near to the great internet; now I can’t get them across the last step between Flickr and ProseBox. Every time I read of a change or worst an improvement I feel the cold hand of the software engineer; and a sweaty touch of my hand wondering across the keys – frustration ……

The news of change has been about for months, things wonderful are going to happen – yea! so things could be better once the disillusion is dun; so I fiddle carefully trying until – something’ish happens!

BBC Weather says – dry, Weather Channel said wet, so far it was sunshine and clouds, with a few dark clouds now and then that looked like rain clouds; but passed by with any wetness.

Wednesday.

By mid-day the clouds had gone and the rest of our day was dry and blue, we did have some rain but it was dun and dusted before we were up. As I looked up at the ceiling first thing, I recall a shaking about five’ish, it wasn’t any one shaking me, there are no reports of earthquakes so I think I was dreaming, as usual I can’t remember any else; so nothing to ponder over.

Photographs, I manage to upload and image, it had the code stuff as well ……

So far so well, but I can do without the code, only a software engineer would find it interesting ……

'Note. No image and no code, is that at least some sort of improvement ……..'

What I know is you will figure it out. Apparently I never will. I must call Woman in the Moon on the phone and have her walk me through it. Meanwhile, I know you brilliant photos are safe with you. Good Luck with them and the weather. Today I heard a good local news report and learned many people in Iowa are suffering due to all our rain. In one county residents near a river are all being evacuated, nearly all the parks that border rivers are closed, and serious flooding looms for even more towns as the rivers reach their flood levels. I had to take a detour to get on the other side of town because of a creek overflowing. I know there must be a lot of cropland under water. Wonderfully chilly here now (overnight 50') but boiling the the weekend. MUST see those poppies. Laughed at Sweetheart e-mailing from the next room. Tom and I do that - upstairs and downstairs!

Strange here we have news of Oklahoma worst drought in decades, yet nothing of floods. I expect it’s the size of America, large enough to have radical different weather! It dose happen here a odd time, I recall the east – our grain belt – or is it a grain bracelets! At the same time the west and north-west had more rain the we could manage, a shame the extra water can’t be deviated to where it is needed, if this continues perhaps our governments will deem it financial to tackle such an undertaking!

Our weather is better than forecast, and it is behaving like a gent – raining over night! The BBC forecast seem the best just now, where as the Weather Channel tills us it is going to rain, the BBC’s dry with clouds was much closer to the weather we experienced. We’ve had some nice evenings this lass few weeks, last night I took a photograph of the waxing Moon, a three day old moon I think; it was a reasonable sharp image with a few craters.

Keep well and try to swap weather with Oklahoma!
