Last night I bought the domain name www.michellespetcare.co.uk and transferred my site over to it. Please take a look at my site and let me know what you think! As I don't know anything about web design, it's a very basic drag and drop so I can't really do a whole lot to it, but any suggestions will be welcome; more photos, fewer photos, change the wording, change what's on the pages...bearing in mind the subscription I have only allows six pages so I have room for one more which I'm planning on using for FAQs/ qualifications/ other such miscellany. There will also be a phone number on there once I've sorted one out just for business use.
I'd be very grateful for constructive feedback, thanks! :o)

Looks good! On the testimonials though the rabbit one refers to "Safe & Hound" not Michelles pet care :)

Same as above about the Safe & Hound thing. Also, one of the testimonials says about their dog getting upset if you aren't walking it that day - probably best to reword that to misses you, or something, as no one wants an upset dog!

Off to a good start, so far!
For some reason, the map size on the main page bugs me a bit. The proportions feel a bit off. I think the map kind of takes over the page. Maybe make the map image smaller or the other stuff larger?

I know what you mean but I can't change it :o( I can either have a map, or no map. All I can change is how much it's zoomed in by.
But thanks, I'm really excited to! I've been sitting here trying to work out exactly what my last day at the office, will be, eeeeee!

The site looks good, I have 2 comments that I would hope can help you improve it.
You could make the areas you cover a bit more obvious on the map. If you have a look at this site: http://apollodrivinglessons.co.uk/ you'll see what you can do. It makes it a bit more user friendly.
The picture of the dog on the front page ... is that Meg? It's a very cold picture, and she doesn't look comfortable. You could do with a warm close up picture that will make the user go 'awwww'. You want to draw people in; make the site welcoming.
Remember, people don't want a 'pet sitting service', people want their pet to be loved and looked after. I hope that makes sense x

Sadly I can't do anything with the map, the options are either to have a map, or no map. All I can edit is how much it's zoomed in or out. I suppose I could take a screen print and add the area indicator as a JPEG, but then it wouldn't be interactive. You're the second person to mention the map though, so I probably do need to do something with it.
Ah yes, I know what you mean, it's a bit strange having a photo of snow in the middle of summer isn't it? I'll see if I can find one of her having fun in the grass or a river :o)

I wonder if it's something to do with having a Google Places account? You need to get on there anyway so you rank better in searches, have a play with it x

The information is very thorough - this is very good! I like the pricing info also, you seem to have covered in detail what you will provide. I like the page about "you" - could you perhaps have something personal on there such as why you love animals so much, what makes you unique to the person next door to you who also loves animals? Also, some coloured headings might not go amiss, something to match with your purple theme, just to break it up a bit.
Very professional and good solid start. Obviously the more you do & learn, the more you can tweak it to how you want.

Your website had lots of detail and pricing details which is good. No suggestions from me that haven't already been mentioned :-)
