Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band, but I didn’t become a fan until around 2001. By that time, Christine McVie had retired from touring. I never thought I would get to see her live, but she rejoined the band in 2014 and I did get to see her live. Twice. I feel so lucky that I got to see her because she wrote most of their hits. Here are some of my favorite Christine McVie tunes, solo and with Fleetwood Mac. RIP
The harmony on this song is flawless.
If you’re in a bad mood, this song will pick you up.
Her music was so uplifting.
This was her most recent song.
Her voice was very unique and like velvet.
Her 2004 solo album was a real comfort record for me.
But sometimes her moody music was more seductive than her sunny music.
It took me years to fully understand this song.
This song makes me dance hard.
I’m glad this song is resurfacing, and just before she passed.
This is my FAVORITE Fleetwood Mac song. I could listen to only this song for the rest of my life and never tire of it.
And of course…
And now I’m crying again.....
