Another Day? in Help Me Please

Hubby did some of his holiday shopping yesterday and so I am done. I think my son is done also. So now all he has left is his brother and his girlfriend. The two gifts I suggested he get his brother he said no to so he will just get the regular stuff he gets for them every holiday which is some sort of food. But I have been thinking that hubby should just give him the money for the seat covers he wantts for his Escalde because I think food is just not a good thing to give. And hubby can give his girl friend what I got her because I got her two DVD’s so he can give her one of them.
And after breafast this morning we will be going to do some grocery shopping and it’s going to be a big and expensive one because hubby wants to get most of what he needs for this low glycimic way of eating and low salt and low carbs so it’s going to be expensive. But he wants to do this right and get his body to where it needs to be. Have you ever known anyone who’s good cholestral is too low? That is what hubby has so he is trying to raise it up to what should be “normal” And I have decided that I am also going to try to do that also but staying away from the chips, cookies and candy is really hard. But when I decide to start to lose weight again I will just stop.

Onto something else…

So it snowed here yesterday but it was a very wet snow and it didn’t stick but it did rain and it’s going to be raining and cold something like 36 so I do know the snow will come and stick which means I will have to shovel my side walk. I think the land lady should be shoveling and not me because like she says it’s her house. And I have also decided that she isn’t very reliable because I thought the other day she said she was comming down to turn off the furnice and put in a new thermomitor or something but she never did come and do it and she never did call to say it would be another day so now like my son and my brother who are always late she goes on the list also. At least when I say I am going to do something I get it done and if I think I might not I say something like “it will get done” and I don’t specify a time or date.

Onto something else…

I heard yesterday that there were still people who didn’t have electricity from Friday night and the crews were working on it to fix it so there would be lights.

It’s incredible how a wind can cause so much damage. I just hope everyone is okay and no one got hurt too badly.

Onto something else....

I think my new wake up time will be somewhere around 4:00 am which really sucks. And hopefully the time change will be a thing of the past starting in 6 months or so. I heard that the federal government in the USA is just now going to approve the time change for Washington and California so then B.C. will be in the same time zone. I just can’t understand why it’s taking so long?
