Tears For The Leaves in Hello

I no longer like the park downtown. A friend pointed out there is too much concrete now. My last sojourn there proved her correct. But what I noticed…they removed all the Weeping Willows. Seeing their branches sag down into the pond water on a grey, autumn day. They were absorbing life from the water.
