Things In General in Daily Dish

A general sort of random rantyish post.

First: I am so over hockey on twitter. It used to be fun to watch and follow hockey on twitter, and now it is kind of painful. The same old people saying the same old things and most of them are whiney bitches. And all of them are men. I learned a long time ago not to follow women on twitter when it comes to hockey, because 98% of them are puck bunnies and the other 2% think they are going to make the NHL. I am too old to be a puck bunny. Well I'm not but with the rookies coming up that is crossing cougar territory and I am not on board with that...yet.

It is a great place to share my thoughts, so as to not overrun facebook and get people all pissed off like they piss me off when they do that.

Second: I don't even know why I still try to go to Open Diary. Nobody really posts anymore and like today, it goes down and nobody ever comments on twitter or facebook. So why have an account if you are not going to post? So happy I don't still pay for that shit. I would be pissed off.

Third: What is with the new crop of old ladies on power trips? A group on facebook has a new moderator and she is on some sort of power trip deleting posts and comments and chastising people for not being nice. Seriously. I know her from when I worked at the college and she was a non-traditional student. She thinks she is all sorts of special because she has a two-year administrative assistant "degree". Sorry people, I just can't call that a real degree. I just can't. I feel bad for people who think that being a moderator is an important "job". Actually I feel bad for people around them. How pathetic their lives must be if they are with her.

Fourth: You know how they say ignorance is bliss? It is so obvious that that person did not live in the age of social media. My biggest pet peeve is incorrect spelling. We all make mistakes. It happens. I am not talking about that. I am talking about the people who consistently spell words wrong. Simple words like burger. Last time I checked it is not berger. Unless you are talking about Jack Berger from SATC and in that case, you need a capital B. It would be great if facebook could take some of that money and put in a spell check. It would be even better if a person continually spells simple words wrong if they were cut off. Then again, I would only have maybe four people on my friends' list.

Fifth: I could use one. I don't drink because I already have a bum liver on its own, no need to cause any more damage. But I sometimes wish I did drink. I could use a lot more of the e-cards to describe my life. Plus maybe I would be numb to all the bullshit around me. Of course I would probably also turn into a whore like all the other slutty drunk girls did. Win some, lose some.

Sixth: Sense. No, just kidding. I don't think there is a sixth. Other than today I was super pissy and didn't give a shit about anything. If there was a world record for rolling one's eyes, I might have come pretty damn close to capturing that today. Not to mention all the ways I wanted people to suffer. That might have been a highlight though. Can't really be sure at this point.
