My camping trip with the girls last weekend was pretty good. I had some slight issues with vertigo at first which is actually pretty funny. It’s like this, I live in the prairies. I don’t travel much. It’s flat here. Very flat here. We swung into a town to eat and I kept feeling like I was sliding because of the view.
I was hoping to get rid of my tanlines but I ended up making it worse. I can see my true colours though, my copper skin. I did get a pretty bad sunburn but it’s alright. I knew it was coming.
We were more organized last year. For starters, we brought way too much food. Leanne had us consolidate our coolers which I wasn’t prepared for. My stuff got crushed, things spilled and/or got flooded with melted ice water. Last year I was the only difficult one with my vegan diet. There were four diets this year. Leanne is doing keto, Carly is dairy-free and Angelina is wide open but adaptable and then just me with my cooky vegan ways.
I am not a good camper. I am prissy but I am a trooper. The bathroom situation traumatized me for a bit. I did a coffee enema the day before we left to reduce my need to duece but I ended up going 8 times while we were there. I didn’t the first day. Whatever.
We were in desperate housewife mode because of a young man at the site next toi ours. He was fit. They were checking him out because of his nice arms. I wasn’t lusting I was just admiring his physique, getting inspired so to speak. My fitness journey has a lot of room for improvement.
Our view from our site was spectacular. We were elevated above everyone else and the view was beautiful. I woke up in the middle of the night to pee and the view of the lake lit up from the full moon took my breath away.
We didn’t do anything exciting. Carly had heat stroke on day two and on day three Leanne and Ange were cramping. We’ll find exciting things to do to make up for it, so they say lol.
