Miranda called me today, sick as a dog with the upper respiratory crap that is going around. She was so confused, she could barely make out what day it was and asked me if I thought she should go to the Clinic.

I reminded her that it was Sunday and would cost $300 just to walk in the door. I suggested if she waited until Monday she could see the on call provider at regular prices.

So, I told her not to worry about the dogs, I would find someone else. I called Brandie who was crying hysterically. She and her husband are heading toward a divorce and she is heading to Oregon with the 2 children to live with her mother and start over. I am so sorry for this, but it would be absolutely best for Brandie and her children as he is never home, either working or out with friends--lately a friend who is a girl.... nuff said.

Brandie not in a good space to remember our dogs, so I called Carol Nelson, my old boss at Skag Air and has been providing me books after she buys and reads them for years and years. She would be happy to do so, even mentioned taking them out to her acreage where she has a large fenced area. I told her whatever worked for her was fine with me.

Carol will come over at 10am tomorrow to get acquainted with the dogs, get the wheelchair from the clinic and drive us to the ferry terminal. Bill says he needs to drive so our vehicle will be there when we return. We will work that out tomorrow.

I have begun putting things in a small bag up here that I don't want to forget--kindle and power cord, telephone power cord, magazines Wendy gave me, like that. I know I will forget something but am not stressing over anyting. I will do the best I can.

We have had another day of rest. I have napped, woken up at 8:27 wondering if it was am or pm--am--I ha only had an hour and a half rest. All IS well, we are getting along and by.

Blessed be!
