Such Great News! in At the foot of the hill

My scans last week showed NO CANCER ACTIVITY!!! I will finish my Immunotherapy treatments over the next six months. Both my oncologists are very optimistic.
Yesterday our daughter and SIL had a huge yard sale. They had tons of “I don’t ever use this”, “outgrown that”, “I forgot I even had this”, and “Where did this come from?” articles from both of them, their two daughters, a cousin or two, and necessary downsizing from us! So much stuff that they are going to have another session next Saturday. I did come home with some cash in my pocket.
Today we are packing what we will be taking to our new home a few blocks from here. Our movers are going to do their thing Wednesday this week and we will be sleeping that night at our new place and beginning a new chapter. It will be nice to have a social life with new friends and activities and meals and housekeeping.
My head is spinning. Mixed emotions.
