Ok I know I've done an entry about Doctor Who before but I want to hear how you guys feel about Peter Capaldi as the next Doctor. I for one cannot wait I think it will be an amazing run with him as the doctor. And just to throw it out there who are your top three companions? Keep in mind the if you say Amy you mean Rory as well! Let's hear your answers and I will feed you mine. Who do you think is the worst companion? Last question I promise.

Apparently I'm not British enough to have a real idea of what Doctor Who is about. Nevermind the fact that I have seen a bunch of the classic Doctor Who and my basis for picking my favorite companions is based off the newer shoes because that's what I saw first. I do understand that some die hard fans exist out there who think the new Doctor Who is crap. That is your opinion and you are allowed to have it. But do not get angry with me when I offer mine back. Because if you are allowed to have an opinion so am I. A big reason I don't like the classic who companions is because the classic Doctors were very misogynistic towards the female companions they were treated horribly most of the time and the reason bad things happened most of the time. This is my opinion and I am allowed to have it. I am not shooting down your opinion if I respond as such. You have an opinion and are allowed to have it and give it do not get mad at me for having one of my own.

I'm sooo behind on Dr. Who. I'm only on season 3, with the 10th Doctor. From what I've seen of Peter Capaldi's stuff, he'll probably give us a Dr. closer to the original series, which I know my ex-roommate is really excited about. So far, as far as companions go (knowing I haven't seen many), I like Martha the best, and can't stand Donna.

Peter Capaldi rocks. So did Martha, Donna, and Jenny. If I tell you the companion I like the least, the fandom would shoot me in the face.

Hey, thanks for the notes on my profile:

I am a long standing Whovian but I only came back to it when I heard that Tennant was going to be the Doctor as I was a big fan of his work. On re-watching Eccleston I realised I had totally missed out.

I'd have a hard time picking a favourite companion but I shall annoy most people by saying that one of them has to be Donna from the David Tennant era. I loved the fact that he didn't "fix" her as he did with the other companions because she wasn't really broken, she just needed a mate to go travelling with. The only thing he can ever do for her is give her a sense of self worth. She never needed to be smart, or special, just to be a good person.

Let's be fair though, you could go through most of the Doctors companions from the beginning and find stuff to love about them. Obviously excepting Adric. He was awful.
