I'm still in the process of training at my new job. I'm making $26.00 an hour. Which I think is pretty good. The girl that I'm training with is more interested in planning her wedding instead of helping me find my way.

My hubby and I are like little squirrels gathering our firewood for the winter. My task is to pick up the heavy wood and toss it into the trailer It's so exhilarating to know that we are helping mother nature. I love the smell of fire wood. Yesterday we cut up so fir, My husband says that fir burns really easily.

Husband is gone shooting with his older boys who are out of school. I have had the chance to shoot an AK 47 a few times also shoot rifles and hunting guns.

I'm home alone doing laundry on this father day. I didn't think it would be appropriate to hang out with the guys. So Now I think about my dad who past away so suddenly. I was looking at my pictures of my dad and got a little weepy. He died too young. He was such a good dad taking us camping out at Indian Heaven Wilderness. The place where I spread his ashes. I really want to go back to that spiritual place.

I love the smell of firewood too. Not having a fireplace is the only thing I miss since I sold my townhouse.

We did not have a fireplace, but my parents did get on in the house they had built much later in their marriage. But do do love the smell of a fireplace, a bomb fire, a camp fire. And I miss my dad.

I love having fires in the fireplace but we do not do it often enough :-(
