So. i’ve been reading up on it and. no, far as i know i don’t. have an abscess under my toenail. that’s stage 3. out of. 3. i had pus [ew, sorry, i know] when. i made an effort to get the nail off. that was last wk. that hurt like hell and yeah i stopped. but nothing more has um. exited, that area. and the rest of my foot looks ok.
actually. like w/i the last. yr., or so i don’t know it’s been awhile. i had a mild thumbnail infection which. i dealt w/ myself then superglued the. um nail. [which, btw was the original use of superglue for those who don’t know.].
but i think i have. a subungal hemotema which basically means blood under the nail. and i can’t like clean under there bc it’s such a small area. oh so at the appt. fri. i asked the doc if Nsporin would work and he said ‘no’. but here’s the weird thing: he presc. me something.......... w/ apparently the exact ingredients as Neosporin.
oh so since the appt. i haven’t been in nearly as much pain. but that might be bc there’s not gauze all around my toe therefore putting pressure. on it. The other weird thing is he said i’d have to take the antibio before, the procedure. which is the opposite of how it is w/ dental surgery the. only surgery i remember having. [which is why i always say ‘no’ when asked. apparently i had surgery when i was like 3, or so. that’s what i mean by ‘remember having.’.]. since apparently if it’s done in reverse the anesthesia won’t work. Right...........but anesthesia numbs. the area so um. ......... so does lidocaine but that didn’t do much last wk. I don’t know it’s kindof hard for me to believe him. like i didn’t tell him that. but yeah.

yeah so regarding covid. yes i’m vaxxed. i was reading something online about how. It’s more likely to be spread by. .......... people of color, or something. And in the south, well. so i probably got it while in nola maybe when we were on the boat or on the elevator in the hotel. or maybe from the italian place we ate at. or in a cab.
oh so the day we left. actually i got. air sick fairly bad. usually for me it’s mild which is why i always have mints when i travel. Those 5 - 10 mins. were scary. and it’s worse on flights cause it’s not like during takeoff people are allowed to stand. and if it’s allowed i keep the window shade drawn during um takeoff otherwise. it makes things worse.

yeah so like i mentioned. in April i was dx.’ed w/ 2 ovarian cysts, one on each ovary. The one on my left. ovary is complex. The one on my right is normal. actually i have a cyst on my back, right shoulder blade that’s benign. i’ve had it forever. like unless it itches it doesn’t bother me. my mom’s so fascinated by it as of late. um so. that wk. as i was dx.’ed i think the 14th. but a couple days before i was in pain. it’s been painful off and on since. may 9th at least. I was keeping track. .........up untill last wk. i think i had one in college but i didn’t like. do, anything about it didn’t see anyone for it. it went away. so. if i do have PID it is not. cause by an STD [not that i have coitus] and i know cause i looked up STDs and their um. incubation periods and such. and yeah doesn’t apply. either that or endo in my case would be caused by an. anaerobic infection which means it doesn’t oxygen to grow, somehow. So. an ultrasound the over-the-stomach kind. can only tell the size, of the cyst. apparently endo and/or PID is v. difficult to diagnose. and one of them is an autoimmune disease. another way to dx. is to. have a lacroscopy i think is the word. it’s where they cut the abdomen and put a very tiny camera in. um the patient. i’d much rather have that. or the ultrasound. but, the lacro thingy is kindof a ‘last resort’ kindof thing.

i really. really don’t want the other. kind of exam......... the one that ladies are supposed to have. i had an idea of being put under for that. but apparently one thing they check for is pain. I know i’ve been in pain. that’s why i’ve been taking. well pain pills [which have stopped working for me] and using these thermacare things. This is why i don’t like dr.’s. is cause sometimes. they don’t believe the patient. yeah i’m not a big fan of that line of work apparently. i wish. there was a better. way to dx. endo/PID something a lot less um. physically invasive. [i’m in the u.s.]. and there’s not. and i know cause i’ve looked up alternatives.

see. i have ptsd. yeah........... in my late 20’s i had. one of those exams but couldn’t get through it. The lady was wonderful.
i’m really fukin scared.

oh so as to what this has to do w/ cysts. well. right. i just looked it up on my phone. and PID. is the one that’s cause by the anaerobic infection. so. Ok here it is. Right, My complex cyst might’ve ruptured [and i say this bc of the heavy bleeding that one day] and caused peritonitis which caused. the other infection. which therefore in turn caused PID.
but. it’s weird cause the pain’s lessened from the cyst the past couple days from what i recall. PID is the one where. there’s no clear way to dx. it. an ultrasound can dx endotrema, a type of ovarian cyst. The report from april didn’t say what kind it was. just that it was ‘complex’ [which. means it’s not related to my period.].

oh fuk. i just looked at my notes and the right one. is [or was] ‘peripherally enhancing.’. ok wow. even though it’s normal. which means like on the literal edge of. enhancing. [‘peri’ meaning ‘outside’.]. huh. One of the dr.’s from the ER back in april. no one said anything about me having a follow-up regarding the cysts. at all. to me or my mom. which is kindof weird. which. as i just now found out. ‘peripherally enhancing’ means i had/have a lesion on my right cyst. the normal cyst. the one that’s related to my period. oh. ..........so apparently lesions are usually caused by disease. which. PID is. and that can cause cysts. but it can also go in reverse.
i think. maybe i have DIE which stands for deep infiltrating endo which. are endo lesions that go 5 mm or more into the tissue. if i do. that makes sense as to why i’ve been having digestive problems. cysts and/or PID. can cause late periods. ‘infiltrating’ meaning ‘invasive’.

oh so endo. is when tissue that usually lines the uterus grows. outside of it. and causes lesions [cuts.]. not that i want. to see like a video of it [oh god no. weak stomach] but it’s weird. bc it’s. inside me. whereas w/ dental work and such. well. yeah that’s blatantly visible. An ‘endometroma cyst’ is [or was, as again. the pain’s lessened] is the most likely kind the second being a hemmorhagic [it has to do w/ bleeding] cyst. oh god. The endo one is aka a ‘chocolate cyst’ bc. apparently they’re dark.

However. i’m not infertile. [obviously, being that i got my period about. yeah a month ago actually. it’s a wk. late. again i’m not having coitus or on BC. i don’t want. to go on BC.].
back when i wasn’t sure if i was, which was recently. i felt sad bc. when that does happen [and btw i’m 34] i want it to happen. naturally instead of due to ‘oh god something’s medically wrong and that’s the cause’. in a few yrs. ...........well. hopefully. that’ll happen. naturally.
