Lung transplant in My this and that

Today I am thankful that it's not snowing. I feel like we haven't had a really warm and sunny day in a little while. It's been kind of rainy, or windy, or just not quite hot here. I don't really care THAT much, I'm just glad that it's too warm to snow.

I started watching Grey's Anatomy since most of my shows are ended for the summer (though I just checked out Chasing Life and REALLY liked it, looking forward to more of that one this summer). I am not usually into doctor drama's (though now that I think about it I did enjoy House when I used to watch it), but I'm liking this one. All these surgeries though, all these interesting scenarios... gets me thinking about what my future holds, because you never know.

I'm taking way better care of myself than I was... but I still haven't forgotten that one doctor telling me that a lung transplant is a very real possibility for me in the future. It's pretty weird to think about since I've been so healthy now for quite a while, and I know that taking better care of myself helps that. It's not even like it was said more than once that I may need a new lung... but for some reason it has stuck with me.

Perhaps with these life changes I've made, the need for that possibility has been eliminated. That's kind of nice to think about.
