Home in 2022

I’ve been in PA for basically 5 weeks. I miss Florida. I miss the warmth and the quiet.

I’m thankful that things have worked out and I can be here to help. I have taken dad to several appointments, washed insane amounts of dishes, run errands, etc… I’m exhausted. Mac is becoming restless. I am certain my sister is excited to get her house back. To get the boys back on a normal schedule.

Liam has been in Lisbon for 6 days. He changed his flight home so now he comes back tomorrow, Saturday, but into JFK so he’ll take the trains from there to Lancaster, which is only 25 minutes away. We are still leaving on Sunday.

Dad was cleared to drive to his next appointment on the 28th so I am free to go home. I will enjoy living here, but in my own home. I am thankful that Lauren and I get along so well, since I’ve been living with her for two weeks.

I have been studying for my two Florida teacher certification exams while here, mostly this week. I feel fairly confident. I don’t test until the first and second weeks in May so I have plenty of time.

Tonight I am taking Preston and Ethan to get water ice and then we’re planning on having a fire and making sliders for dinner. I will likely get Dad and bring him down here, but he tires easily these days so we’ll see where he’s at later in the day. My parents had/have tickets to a concert tonight but dad doesn’t think he can do it so mom is taking a friend.

There isn’t really all that much going on. I’m tired, I’ll be honest.
