The only good thing about a nuclear war is that the majority of humanity wouldn’t even know it had happened. That is, if the missiles and warheads actually work. I’d bet that the US made W88 ALT 370’s will probably work. On the other hand, will the Russian systems work? Or has the budget for maintenance and upgrades been siphoned off by corruption over the last few decades?

No matter, as there is only one to find out. One hydrogen bomb detonated over Washington D.C. would render the whole US east of the Mississippi uninhabitable for at least one thousand years. And any detonations over Europe or Asia would send the radiation on the winds over North America.

What most people don’t know is that if a full scale launch by the US is ordered it means that along with the few targets in Russia, twelve cities with a population of over one million, it would also include the six cities in China over ten million and the 160 over one million. This is for the simple and logical reason that if the West and Russia wipe each other off the face of the planet, why leave what’s left to the Chinese? That has been official US strategy since the very beginning.

Anyway, I just did my once a month one load of laundry. I’ve been able to open the windows at night still. It was 72 degrees in here this morning. I usually turn the A/C units on in the late afternoon. We haven’t had our first 100 degree day yet. We’ve had a 99 and a 98 though.

I just finished off the Indica I’d bought months and months ago. I’ve still got some Sativa left. I’m not really in the mood for that though.

I sent Daughter a check to reimburse her for the plane tickets. I also told her to replace all four tires on the car and I’d reimburse her for that too.

And now I need to buy myself some plane tickets. I’ve got two months to do that. The Wee One is still due on the 11th of July.
