One Day Out in Thirty-Seven

Hey friends, I just wanted to say thank you all to those who left comments on my last entry.

Today is a little bit better.

Both Randy and I are extremely sore from the 20-30 minutes of CPR we had to perform until the Sherriff and EMT’s got here.

So, we are just resting. I’ve gotten a lot of phone calls, and messages, which has been good. I slept from about 9:30 yesterday until about 9:30 this morning. Definitely needed it, but I am still exhausted.

We are currently waiting for the Medical Examiner to do their examination and then they’ll release him to the funeral home where we can start setting up his services. Most likely next weekend is when everything will go on.

We are going to have a rosary and prayer service for him and then the next day we’ll take him up to Taos to be laid to rest with my mom.

So until then I’m going to be here, cleaning up the house and getting it in order, in case people want to come by or anything, but I doubt it because no one has ever come over to the house anyway.
