Too Drunk To Dream in Hello

About 10 PM last night I laid here, full tummy, very tired, fading in and out. I was ready for my slumber.

Only problem is the few times I fell asleep only lead to nightmares. After about the third or fourth time I got up and turned on the PS4.

Screw it, right?

I did manage longer, dreamless sleep but it was hours later.

Bah!

I usually dream about a raven haired perky toothed vamp vixen who fights off swarm after swarm of zombies with me while listening to 50's doo wop...Then I wake up just as she is about to give me a fang job....God I hate my life.

How...erotic.

I know right, totally nerd worthy. Where the hell is my pocket protector and DnD dice?!?

Alcohol fucks up your sleep. You do not really sleep. Normally drug and alcohol-free, you go through periods of different sleep. Basically, it's fucked up with drugs and alcohol. You feel tired and shitty from lack of good sleep.

Alcohol wasn't involved. I just kept having nightmares of dead relatives so I decided to just call it quits and stay up.

Apologies. I just saw that title. Good health and peace to you, always :-)

It's the title of a Magnetic Fields song. Basically getting too hammered not to pine over a loved one.

Thank you. I remember TRYING to be too hammered to think or feel. Had to go through a picket line for about a half year and due to the constant hate, violence and harassment of the picketers, I got drunk every night just so I would not feel. Ah the good old days when I could do that ;-)

I hate it when nightmares keep me up like that.

I eventually went back to bed but it was HOURS later.
