New Hires in Bittersweet

The new receptionist starts on the first. Shes an older lady. She feathers her bangs back in thnat 80s early 90s style that you will likely remember. But she has a lot of expierence at bookkeeping and has managed 4 peoples schedules with twice the amount of clients as we currently manage ( we are over 650) She felt a bit standoffish but maybe she was just nervous? I hope so. Her body of work is impressive. More for billing manager but we have one of those! She asked for more then we were offering and CEo gave it to her. But with the desire to give me a raise so im a bit higher then her. Honestly i wasnt expecting it and am so grateful. Ill clarify what shes changing it to when I do payroll next monday. She said one thing, then told me she wants me at more. But i mean thats 2.5 an hour more then she was budgeted for too.

We are looking at hiring two new therapists and a dietician. Ive called references all afternoon. I got two back. Left voicemails for others. Ill call them tomorrow again.

One lady will be starting in April after she moves to our town. Im not sure on the other two yet.

Its going to be a hectic couple of weeks though. Its going to be stressful and busy and so much going on. But its only a few weeks. And things will be good again! Fingers crossed.
