If we could all go to sleep one night and wake up at the weight we would all want to be at? I think the only time that happens is when you are in a coma or have died other then that weight loss is really hard work and frustrating. I can now understand why people do the cheat thing and then after wonder why they are either not losing or have gained. Well I have been really lucky this time around because every week I have lost something so maybe I am doing something right.
The one thing I do need to work on is my portions because I am a volume eater and there are some things I just eat more of like salad and lasagna and spaghetti sauce. So I need to learn really fast that I can only have a small bit and no more.
But this week I did lose 3/4 of a pound so it wasn’t a bad week or even a terrible week. but the journey is still continuing and I can see the end of the tunnel and the bright light.
Does 11 pounds seem like a lot to lose? Or is 11 just a two digit number that seems larger then life?
I know I can finish this journey and then maintain and go on to more active things like walking up hills and up the stairs.
Onto something else....
Hubby has now started his three day weekend and I am sure not much will happen except for a dentist appointment for him on Monday and then back to work. I have a feeling he will be watching the pro bowl game today and hockey if his team is playing.
Last night hubby ate left over chili so I am sure he will be having a lot of gas but I will make sure I am far enough away where I won’t smell it....
And tonight I am thinking chicken legs and zucchini and brown rice.
Not much else to say so I will stop here.
Do have a great day....
Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe and Behave.
