Somewhere Over The Rainbow. UPDATE in Hello

Well, I’m not fired.
AssButt is in a foul mood tonight.

I guess Im burned out. Been almost a year of working nights. Been a few months since I’ve been stuck in assembly. I was hired to machine not assemble. They keep saying work is coming but they’ve been saying that for quite a while now.

Don’t get me wrong, all the higher ups are super friendly and I’m treated with respect (except from AssButt), but I’m seriously checked out.

Case in point, I’m literally sitting here on my phone typing this up and it’s not even first break yet.

Sure, we moved a few things around then AB disappeared like half an hour ago to go bitch to the shipping/receiving guy. Youngin’ is out waiting on a Covid test and New Guy has been put to work on the forklift. I’m sitting back here by myself.

I dunno, I should quit bitching…

Several hours later…
Finally home. AssButt actually apologized for being a bitch. I was shocked. Eventually we busted out the spray paint and stencils and kept busy the rest of the night. I’m hoping soon the machine shop gets work. I’m tired of walking on eggshells.
